Terms & Conditions

Terms for using the BWRT® Canada website and accessing general information.

Last updated: August 2026

These terms govern use of the BWRT® Canada website. Separate registration, payment, consultation, therapy, or informed-consent terms may also apply to a particular service.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By using this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. General information only

Website content is provided for general educational and informational purposes. It is not medical advice, psychological advice, diagnosis, treatment, crisis support, legal advice, or a substitute for an individual professional assessment.

3. No therapeutic relationship

Viewing the website, submitting a general enquiry, or receiving general information does not create a psychologist-client, therapist-client, supervisor-supervisee, consultant-consultee, or other professional relationship. A professional relationship begins only when the appropriate service agreement, consent process, and booking requirements have been completed.

4. Professional responsibility

Training and consultation do not replace a regulated professional's responsibility to practise within competence, scope, legislation, ethical standards, workplace requirements, and professional regulation. Eligibility for training does not guarantee authorization by a person's regulator or employer to use any particular intervention.

5. Training information

Course descriptions, dates, instructors, venues, learning hours, assessment arrangements, fees, and inclusions may change when reasonably necessary. Material changes will be communicated to registered participants.

Participation in professional training is subject to meeting the applicable eligibility requirements. BWRT® Canada may verify professional education, registration or certification, clinical scope, professional liability insurance, and other eligibility requirements before confirming participation. Registration may be refused or cancelled where eligibility requirements are not met.

6. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, website text, layout, graphics, training materials, handouts, recordings, and other content are protected by copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property rights. BrainWorking Recursive Therapy® and BWRT® are registered trademarks. Content may not be copied, recorded, reproduced, republished, sold, adapted, distributed, scraped, or used to create training or derivative materials without written permission from the relevant rights holder.

7. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, interfere with site operation, conduct automated extraction, impersonate another person, submit false information, or use the site for unlawful or harmful purposes.

8. External services and links

The website may link to third-party services, including booking, payment, video-conferencing, research, or professional resources. External services are governed by their own terms and policies. BWRT® Canada is not responsible for third-party availability, content, security, or practices.

9. Accuracy and availability

Reasonable care is taken in preparing content, but information may become incomplete or outdated. The website may occasionally be unavailable, changed, or withdrawn. BWRT® Canada does not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every item of content is error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, BWRT® Canada is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the website or reliance on general website content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These website terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any dispute will be addressed in the courts or tribunals having jurisdiction in Alberta, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
